Where are my floaties?

This We had one of the largest rainfalls in a 24 hour period in Louisville last night/today. Some places got 3-5 inches, however, we did not. 8 inches since yesterday afternoon. 

This is what the back jogging path looked like around 5 yesterday. 

It's hard to tell but the water had risen about a foot by 10. 

This is the jogging path when I woke up. This is after it had dropped about 6 inches. 

The rain eased up enough for is to squash out way around the building to see the damage. 

Our building was surrounded by water for 90% of the day. 

The kids were restless and wanting to argue with one another. We did get to sit down as a family and watch the Croods. 

It's been a long day to say the least, but we are all safe and have a warm/dry  place to sleep tonight.
